Why I Write

This little blog of mine, right here, has been around for six and half years. I know! I can't believe that either. Anyway, I struggle because sometimes I share things that work for me but then the next day I want to whine/vent/share about how nothing is working for me. And I worry that maybe the contradiction cancels me out in some way.

Does that make sense?

Anyway, I started my blog because I got encouragement from other blogs. Before discovering the good old blogosphere, I wondered how all these moms were walking around knowing everything when I just wanted to run out in the middle of a busy street and scream, "I have no clue what to do!"

But then I stumbled upon Moosh in Indy and Diaper Diaries and Adventures in Babywearing and I Should Be Folding Laundry so many more of my favorite girls that have been around since way back when. And I learned soemthing very important:

No one knows what they're doing!

Everyone is figuring things out as they go. And those two things that I write about, the sharing what I do know and the venting about when I can't figure something out? Those are just being honest.

So I'll go on writing. And I hope, maybe, you'll keep on reading?
